Household dishwashers

Draft Commission Delegated Regulation supplementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards energy labelling of household dishwashers and repealing Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1059/2010 (and its accompanying annexes) (19 pages + Annexes 17 pages, in English)

This draft Commission Delegated Regulation applies to household dishwashers to be placed on the EU market and repeals Regulation (EU) No 1059/2010 with regard to energy labelling of household dishwashers.

It requires suppliers, before products can be placed on the EU market, to provide a label with information on energy and water consumption, programme duration and noise, and to upload the label data, the product information sheet and the technical documentation into a product registration database. The draft Commission Delegated Regulation is based on the findings of a review study and of a long consultation process with stakeholders. A consumer study on the understanding of the label by end-users was conducted in 2018 as well.
