Address the increasing demand for safe beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) operations of ATS (aerial terminal stations) across the Union, mainly for professional purposes in different sectors (e.g. agriculture, transport, pipeline inspections, and search and rescue missions), based on the most advanced mobile communications technologies (4G/LTE, 5G NR), as well as to foster innovation and the efficient use of spectrum, while supporting the development of the internal market.
