The draft of the Egyptian standard specifies the requirements for compressed oxygen gas and liquid -produced by the liquefaction of air and by other means - used:

1/1 for general medical purposes in hospitals, clinics and home care.

1/2 for aviation applications and for respiratory purposes in the upper atmosphere, including cockpit and emergency oxygen systems.
