The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation applies to the following products, whether domestic or imported, marketed in Ecuador:

Storage water heaters powered by gas fuels such as liquefied petroleum gas and natural gas, with an effective rated output not exceeding 108 kW. Instantaneous water heaters powered by gas fuels such as liquefied petroleum gas and natural gas, with an effective rated output not exceeding 108 kW.
