The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation applies to the following products, whether manufactured or assembled domestically or imported, that are marketed in Ecuador:
Tankless electric instantaneous water heaters designed to heat water to a temperature below boiling point, with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V.
All showers, taps, and electric instantaneous water heaters.
The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation does not apply to:
Electric storage water heaters.
