The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by distribution transformers, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting human safety and the environment, and preventing deceptive practices.
It applies to the following products:
Pole-mounted, substation, pad-mounted, submersible and dry-type distribution transformers.
Single-phase transformers having a power handling capacity between 3 kVA and 167 kVA, with a medium-voltage insulation class not exceeding 34.5 kV and low-voltage insulation class not exceeding 1.2 kV.
Three-phase transformers having a power handling capacity between 15 kVA and 2,000 kVA, with a medium-voltage insulation class not exceeding 34.5 kV and low-voltage insulation class not exceeding 1.2 kV.
Este reglamento técnico ecuatoriano establece los requisitos que deben cumplir los transformadores de distribución, previamente a la comercialización de productos nacionales e importados, con el propósito de proteger la seguridad de las personas y el medio ambiente; así como prevenir prácticas que puedan inducir a error.
Este reglamento técnico se aplica a los productos:
Transformadores de distribución tipo: poste, subestación, pedestal (padmounted), sumergibles y secos
Transformadores monofásicos de potencia desde 3 kVA hasta 167 kVA, clase de aislamiento en medio voltaje (MV) ≤ 34,5 kV y en bajo voltaje (BV) ≤ 1.2 kV.
Transformadores trifásicos de potencia desde 15 kVA hasta 2000 kVA, clase de aislamiento en medio voltaje (MV) ≤ 34,5 kV y en bajo voltaje (BV) ≤ 1.2 kV.
