The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by household electrical appliances for cooking by induction, used to heat and cook food, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting human safety and the environment, and preventing deceptive practices.
It applies to the following products:
Induction cookers of a rated electrical output 200V - 240V, 60Hz, for household use;
· Combined induction cookers;
· Induction cookers with an electric oven;
. Induction hob.
