The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by clothes washer-dryers, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting the environment and preventing deceptive practices.

It applies to the following products: Washer-dryers for household use.

It does not apply to the following products:

·         Clothes washer-dryers that can also be powered by other forms of energy.
