The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation applies to the following products, whether domestic or imported, marketed in Ecuador:
Mains-powered electric ovens for household use.
The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation does not apply to:
• Ovens that use an energy source other than electricity;
• Ovens that offer a microwave heating function;
• Mini portable ovens;
• Microwave ovens;
• Combined microwave ovens;
• Heat storage ovens;
• Grills;
• Toasters;
• Ovens for use in corrosive or explosive atmpospheres.
