The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by low-power generating sets driven by reciprocating internal combustion (RIC) engines, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting human safety and preventing deceptive practices.
It applies to the following products: Low-power generating sets up to 12 kW and 1,000 V, driven by reciprocating internal combustion (RIC) engines.
