The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation applies to the following products, whether domestic or imported, marketed in Ecuador:

·        Cold-formed steel panels, with a metallic or pre-painted metallic coating, for use in ceilings, non-load bearing walls, skirting boards and roofs.

·        Corrugated cold-formed steel sheets, with coating.

The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation does not apply to:

·        Reused steel panels.

·        Steel panels of a total coated thickness (TCT) of less than 0.20 mm.
