The following mandatory phytosanitary measures are established (in addition to existing requirements) for the importation of plants for planting (except seeds, unrooted cuttings, twigs, tubers, grafts and in vitro plants), with growing medium, of all reported host species from any country in which the presence of Adoretus sinicus (Chinese rose beetle) is reported.

a.     Shipments must be free from Adoretus sinicus. (Shipments require an official phytosanitary certificate issued by the country of origin, which indicates, in the section for additional declarations, that they are free from Adoretus sinicus.) 

b.     Shipments will be subject to phytosanitary actions upon arrival in the country.
