The purpose of the notified Technical Regulation is to establish the requirements and characteristics for natural honey produced by bees of the species Apis mellifera. It applies only to natural honey produced by bees of the species Apis mellifera, and the presentation, point-of-sale marketing and direct consumption thereof.
