This document specifies the selection, use and maintenance of protective clothing against cold and harsh environment.

This document applies to cold-protective, rain-protective and snow-protective occupational clothing used by personnel in cold and harsh environments such as low-temperature cold storage and winter outdoor operations, where users are exposed to low temperature, strong wind, rain and snow. This document doesn't apply to civilian clothing, sports and leisure apparel, or any other non-occupational clothing.
