This document specifies the technical requirements and test of automobile seats, their anchorages and any head restraints.

This document applies to：

a) Seats, seat anchorages and head restraints of category M1 and N vehicles;

b) Seats, seat anchorages and head restraints of category M2 and M3 vehicles not specified in GB 13057 and GB 24406;

c) The design of rare components of seat backs for category M1 vehicles, and devices for protecting occupants from injuries caused by shifting luggage in frontal collisions.
