The standard is mandatory and specifies the limit values of energy efficiency, energy efficiency grades and test methods for ducted air conditioners. The standard applies to ducted air conditioners (heat pump) and direct evaporative all fresh air handling units with motor-driven compressor and indoor static pressure above 0Pa (gauge pressure).
