The notified measure seeks to establish and update the sanitary requirements for importing meat of swine, chilled or frozen, into Chile. Its main features and changes include allowing the entry of meat of swine from countries or zones recognized by SAG as free of foot and mouth disease, with or without vaccination, in accordance with the recommendations of the WOAH Terrestrial Animal Health Code.
