The following is added at the end of III:
"Artifical digestion test for the in vitro detection of Trichinella spp. larvae in meat samples, PrioCHECK® Trichinella AAD Kit.
This method is only considered equivalent for detection in meat of domestic swine.
The PrioCHECK® Trichinella AAD Kit will be used in accordance with its instruction manual, with separating funnels (Lenz NS 29/32) and a 80 ml glass test tube."

Justification/rationale for the comment or proposal: An additional method is included for the detection of Trichinella spiralis in meat of domestic swine. This method was adopted by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1375 laying down specific rules on official controls for Trichinella in meat, which has been in force since its publication on 10 August 2015.
