The notified draft Law seeks to regulate generic bioequivalent drugs and prevent vertical integration of laboratories and pharmacies. This will allow patients to choose which drug to take, among the drugs that share the same active ingredient as the one prescribed, with quality assurance provided by bioequivalence certification from the Institute of Public Health.
