The notified Andean Technical Regulation establishes the minimum information requirements for labels attached to manufactured or imported ready-made articles that are marketed in the Andean subregion. It also sets forth requirements concerning the presentation of such information, with a view to preventing practices likely to mislead consumers as to the characteristics of the products concerned.
