This East Africa Standard adopted as Burundi standard specifies the requirements, sampling and test methods for crude, semi-refined and refined palm stearin derived from fleshy mesocarp of the fruit of the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis). Note: Palm stearin refers to crude, semi-refined and refined palm stearin.
