The draft text stems from a review of the regulatory framework comprising Resolution No. 220/2003 of the former Secretariat of Industry, Trade and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, and its supplementary provisions and amendments, which were notified in documents G/TBT/N/ARG/151 and Add.1-19. The notified measure proposes basic quality and safety requirements for bicycles marketed in the territory of the Argentine Republic, and the repeal of the existing regime.
