1. Scope

1.1 This standard specification document covers the properties and requirements of unleaded gasoline fuel marketed and delivered to use in racing cars.

1.2 Racing fuel is a specialized, high-octane blend formulated for motorsport engines to prevent premature detonation, withstand higher boost and compression, and maximize engine performance.
