This Gulf technical regulation applies to the fruits of unshelled pistachio nuts obtained from pistachio tree from variety of (Pistacia vera L.), ) as defined in section 3, which has been suitably processed and is intended for direct consumption as unshelled pistachio as bulk unshelled pistachio for repackaging in consumer-sized containers. It does not cover products intended for industrial processing.
