Liquefied natural gas (LNG) quality requirements

Draft Regulation of the Minister for Energy and the Minister for Climate and the Environment on the quality requirements for liquefied natural gas

The annex to the Regulation sets out the parameters (and their scope) for liquefied natural gas (LNG), including

liquefied biomethane, which will be subject to inspection by the Trade Inspectorate, in accordance with the provisions of
the Act on the system for monitoring and controlling fuel quality.
These parameters are as follows:
1) nitrogen content;
2) oxygen content;
3) hydrogen sulphide and carbonyl sulphide content;
4) total sulphur content;
5) gross calorific value;
6) Wobbe number;
7) methane number
