Draft Ministerial Decree adopting the Compendium for Sampling and Analysis (CMA)

The Flemish legislation for waste and other materials as well as for soils determine when sampling and analysis must be carried out. These sampling and analysis procedures must be carried out by accredited laboratories (VLAREL). They must follow the methods set out in the Compendium for Sampling and Analysis (CMA), which is laid down by Ministerial Decree. The CMA is updated annually. Although the entire compendium is replaced each time, only a limited number of methods are newly added or changed.

The draft Ministerial Decree attached hereto therefore contains a table of contents identifying the new and/or changed methods in bold. This document also contains an overview of the main changes to the methods. The changed methods using track-changes have been uploaded with the supporting documents.
