The RPW applies to the testing of the mechanical and hydraulic properties of mineral soft seals (natural clay linings, geosynthetic clay liners and permanently plastic linings containing clay and hydraulic binders), their installation methods in waterways (submerged installation whilst navigation continues) and to structure-specific regulatory requirements for manufacture, execution and quality assurance.
