Draft decree explicitly prohibiting the installation of airbags derived from reuse or re-utilisation operations in vehicles, and amending the Highway Code

The decree amends Article R317-23 of the Highway Code by adding an explicit prohibition on the installation of secondhand airbags (inflatable safety cushions) sourced from a reuse or re-utilisation operation in vehicles, whether by professionals or private individuals, given the risk of them malfunctioning and, consequently, the significant risk to road safety.
