Lifts and certain other motor-powered devices

The Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning’s Regulations amending the Board’sRegulations and general advice (2011:12) on lifts and certain other motor-powered devices.

The Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning is amending the Board’s Regulations andgeneral advice (2011:12) on lifts and certain other motor-powered devices by introducing a new provision inChapter 5, Section 2a.

The provision specifies in greater detail the safety requirement for existing passenger lifts laid down in Chapter3, Section 11, paragraph 5 of the Planning and Building Ordinance (2011:338), PBF.
The amendment to the regulations will enter into force on 1 November 2024.
