Product specification ‘Dokazana kvaliteta’ — Milk and dairy products.

This Specification lays down special characteristics for milk and dairy products relating to the method of production and the quality of milk and dairy products. To this end, the Specification establishes the method of production of milk and diary products that meets a series of special characteristics. The Specification applies to milk and dairy products produced from cow’s milk, sheep’s milk and goat’s milk.

Special characteristics determine the origin of the main ingredient (cow’s, sheep’s and goat’s milk), the quality of the main ingredient (cow’s, sheep’s and goat’s milk) and the processing speed of the main ingredient (cow’s, sheep’s and goat’s milk).
‘Dokazana kvaliteta’ label with the indication of the country may only be attached to milk and dairy products if all stages of the production processes are carried out in the country of origin, meaning that the production of cow’s, sheep’s and goat’s milk is carried out in the same country.
