Very toxic and toxic substances and mixtures (substances and mixtures classified under the CLP Regulation as acute toxic category 1, 2 or 3 (Acute Tox. 1, 2 or 3) or as specific target organ toxic category 1 (STOT SE 1)).

Order on the import and sale of very toxic and toxic substances and mixtures, etc., on the storage and notification of the theft of certain substances and mixtures and on the prohibition of misleading statements when placing substances and mixtures on the marke

The Order:

1) Implements authorisations in Chapter 5 of the Chemicals Act on the sale of toxic substances and mixtures, etc., including

a) notification of manufacture, use and sale;
b) authorisation for sale; and
c) requisitions.

2) Implements the authorisation in Section 23 of the Chemicals Act on the storage of specified substances and mixtures.

3) Implements the authorisation in Section 42a of the Chemicals Act on the notification of the theft of certain substances and mixtures.

4) Implements the authorisation in Section 10 of the Chemicals Act on misleading statements when placing substances and mixtures on the market.

5) Lays down administrative provisions and rules on appeal.

6) Lays down provisions on penalties for violation of rules in the Order.
