The purpose of this Technical Specification is to lay down the requirements for the laying of geogrids on the seabed or on underwater layers. The laying of geogrids, combined with the use of woven or non-woven geotextiles, is intended, where appropriate, to strengthen the foundation soil of marine structures, improve the stability of the seabed, strengthen the load bearing capacity of the subsoil, reduce differential settlements and for related applications.
