The following categories of single-use plastic products:

(1) Pizza lid supports;
(2) Sticks to be attached to and to support lollipops that are placed on the market on their own;
(3) Kebab sticks; and
(4) Toothpicks.

Restrictions on Placing on the Market of Single-Use Plastic Products (Amendment) Regulations, 2022.

Regulation 4(b) of the Restrictions on Placing on the Market of Single-Use Plastic Products (Amendment) Regulations, 2022, aims at implementing a measure arising out of the Maltese national Strategy on Single-Use Plastic products (the "Single-Use Plastic Products Strategy for Malta, 2021-2030, Rethink Plastic") whereby a number of single-use plastic products (i.e. pizza lid supports, sticks to be attached to and to support lollipops that are placed on the market on their own, kebab sticks and toothpicks) shall be restricted from being placed on

the market of Malta.
