Draft Order approving the Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Rule laying down conditions for the reduction of sampling frequencies concerning microbiological criteria for carcasses, minced meat and prepared meat, fresh poultry meat obtained in low-production establishments and the conditions for adapting the criteria concerning the plate count to be applied to raw milk used for the production of dairy products by establishments with a low volume of production

This Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Rule governs national measures for the application of flexibility in the frequency of sampling for microbiological criteria from carcases, minced meat, prepared meat and fresh poultry meat from low-production establishments in relation to the requirements laid down in the Commission Regulation (EC) No 2073/2005 of 15 November 2005 on microbiological criteria for foodstuffs, as amended, and the conditions for adapting the criteria for the plate count applicable to raw milk used for the manufacture of dairy products by establishments with a low volume of production, laid down in accordance with Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for products of animal origin, as amended.
