Draft proposal of the act on fertilising products

The Draft proposal of the Act on fertilising products has been drawn up in order to appropriately regulate the Croatian legislation governing the placing on the market of fertilising products.

This Draft proposal of the Act shall fully regulate in one single regulation the issue of placing on the market of fertilising products according to two different principles; the one in line with the EU rules on free movement of goods based on directly applicable European Union regulations establishing the placing on the EU market of fertilising products, and the other being the national legal framework governing the placing on the market of fertilising products through clearer and more precise normative provisions that will improve and adjust the existing national system to new market requirements.
The Draft proposal of the Act on fertilising products shall allow manufacturers of fertilising products and other economic operators on the market to choose the method of placing fertilising products on the market: by applying the regulation that will allow free movement in the single market or by following the rules laid down at national level and adhering to the mutual recognition rules when placing the products on the market in another EU country.
