The purpose of this Technical Specification is to lay down the requirements for the construction works of single or double coating made of bituminous emulsion and fine aggregates to restore damaged asphalt road surfaces, improve their non-skidding properties, protect road pavements or stabilised layers with lime, cement or other hydraulic mortars, when required to be released to traffic, or to form a low-cost traffic deck on concrete paved roads of limited traffic.
