Snuff-like products
Draft Act amending the Food Act (2006:804)
Section 3 of the Food Act proposes that snuff-like products shall be equated with foodstuffs. This means that such products are subject to the requirements imposed on snuff and chewing tobacco in the food area.
The amendments to the Food Act are proposed to enter into force on 1 January 2023.
