Technical specifications — AGRO 8: Specifications for the production of certified pig meat

The present Standard describes the requirements for:

(a) the rearing of pigs from these carcases of which certified pig meat will be produced;
(b) the cutting, standardization, packaging of certified pig meat from carcases of pigs derived from certified pig farms;
(c) the marketing and/or placing on the market of pre-packaged certified pig meat (private label products);
(d) the retail sale of non-prepacked certified pig meat at certified points of sale; to ensure its quality and traceability
