Sanitary-veterinary and food safety registration procedure for the direct and/or retail production and sale of food of animal or non-animal origin, as well as the production, processing, storage, transport and marketing activities of foodstuffs of non-animal origin

Draft Order amending and supplementing the Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Rules on the sanitary-veterinary and food safety registration procedure for the direct and/or retail production and sale of food of animal or non-animal origin, as well as the production, processing, storage, transport and marketing activities of foodstuffs of non-animal origin, approved by Order No 111/2008 of the Chairman of the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority, as amended,

Independent milk processing centres having sanitary-veterinary and food safety registration documents must request the assessment of the establishment in order to obtain the sanitary-veterinary authorisation document in accordance with Order No 57/2010 of the Chairman of the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority.

The procedure for registering food vending machines can also be carried out through a dedicated online platform, for the use of which NSVFSA will develop detailed guidelines/procedures for both the operators in the field and the responsible staff of the County Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Directorates.
The labelling of products of animal origin obtained in retail establishments, intended for sale, must bear on the label the information "PRODUCED IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF... TYPE", where the type of establishment shall be entered in accordance with the provisions of Annex 1 of the Order, followed by the letters "VA", meaning "retail sale", the county sign and the sanitary-veterinary and food safety registration number of the establishment.”
