Cider / perry

Draft amendment to Order No 3D-146 of the Minister for Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania of 8 April 2003 approving the technical regulation on the description, production and presentation of ciders (hereinafter ‘the draft’).

The aim of the project is to add new categories of drink (non-alcoholic cider / perry, natural cider / perry) to the project, taking into account the changes in the market and the proposals of the producers, to establish that cider / perry fruit juices must be at least 20 % vol. and, in accordance with the practice of other European Union (EU) Member States, remove the requirements for production technologies and processes.
