The draft Rules for the Use of Radio Spectrum from Electronic Communications Networks by Radio Broadcasting Service (Rules) have been developed in conjunction with the provisions of Article 30(1)(8), Article 32(1)(2) and Article 66a(3) of the Electronic Communications Act (ZES) (amended and supplemented, Journal of Laws No. 20 of 9 March 2021). Pursuant to art. 66a, para. 3 of the Electronic Communications Act, the use of the radio frequency spectrum – free, after registration or after issuance of authorisation shall be determined by rules.

These Rules lay down the conditions for the use of radio spectrum and the technical parameters for the operation of electronic communications networks by the broadcasting service.
