Measuring instruments

Amendment of Regulation No 65 of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure of 18 December 2018 entitled ‘Mandatory areas of application of metrologically controlled measuring instruments with exceptions, list of measuring instruments subject to metrological control, requirements for accuracy, periods of validity of verification of measuring instruments, and specific requirements for metrological control and statistical verification’

The draft establishes a new list of measuring instruments subject to mandatory metrological control, depending on their use, with exemptions and requirements for measuring instruments and validity periods for measuring instruments. This regulation, together with the Metrology Act, governs the metrological control of measuring instruments in Estonia. The regulation lays down areas of application for types of measuring instruments, where the use of metrologically controlled instruments is mandatory. The regulation specifies, by the type of measuring

instrument, the accuracy requirements and those for putting the instruments into use.
