Draft Ordinance amending the Burgenland Building Ordinance 2008

Essentially, the following proposals should be implemented by this Ordinance:

- declaration of binding force of the current version of the Austrian Institute of Construction Engineering (OIB) Guideline and thereby adaptation of the construction engineering regulations to the latest developments in technology;
- transposition of Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom laying down basic safety standards for protection against the dangers arising from exposure to ionising radiation, and repealing Directives 89/618/Euratom, 90/641/Euratom, 96/29/Euratom, 97/43/Euratom and 2003/122/Euratom;
- transposition of Directive 2010/31/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 May 2010 on the energy performance of buildings (as amended by Directive (EU) 2018/844 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018), concerning, inter alia, the creation of a charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
