Retrofitting of road vehicles with gas equipment

Implementing Decree of the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic amending Implementing Decree No 140/2018 of the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic laying down the details of the installation of gas equipment

The draft Implementing Decree amends Implementing Decree No 140/2018 of the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic laying down the details of the installation of gas equipment, which was notified in accordance with Directive (EU) 2015/1535 as Notification 2018/0009/SK.

The draft Implementing Decree aims to

a) clarify the procedure for ongoing and initial verification of compliance by gas equipment installation centres,

b) add the possibility to replace gas equipment components in the vehicle,

c) specify the time limit for regular inspections of natural gas tanks,

d) establish a new sample inspection sticker for the gas tank of vehicles fuelled by natural gas.
