Draft Directive on the planning of home zones (OMOE-ZK)

This Directive sets out broad guidelines for the planning of a home zone, taking into consideration the experience of other countries. A home zone is one or more solely residential streets in which the road space is shared between drivers of motor vehicles and other road users, giving greater weight and priority to the needs of pedestrians, cyclists, children and people with disabilities.
