The European Union has adopted a new Regulation on medical devices (MDR). This regulation will apply from 26 May 2020. Switzerland is adapting its legislation on medical devices to the MDR by revising the Ordinance on Medical Devices and by creating an Ordinance on Clinical Trials of Medical Devices (OClin-Dim).
