Decree on the methods of providing gambling offers and gambling data

The draft decree is issued pursuant to the Order reforming the regulation of gambling, in particular Articles 2, 7, 12, 13 and 30 thereof.

This draft decree concerns the provision of gambling offers by online betting or gambling operators, including operators with exclusive rights, as well as data made available to the National Gambling Authority by gambling operators.

These regulatory arrangements include the control of rules relating to information society services applicable to gambling and sports betting operators offering online services.

There are two types of technical rules in the draft decree. Firstly, they aim to regulate the commercial communications of operators (see draft Articles L320-10 and L320-13 of the Internal Security Code).

Secondly, the technical rules included in the draft order specify all of the obligations imposed on operators with regard to making data available to the public authorities (see Article 12(XVIII) of the draft order).
