18.1.4 Transport of samples for market surveillance

Section 18.1.4 of Annex S to the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) Regulations on the transportation of dangerous goods by road and on land (ADR-S) contains an existing national exemption for the transport of samples for market surveillance, which has been previously notified. This provision is now supplemented by a new exemption under point (a), which means that samples of substances and articles which contain dangerous goods and which are packaged in accordance with the international provisions of the ADR may also be transported in accordance with the conditions of the exemption.
