Draft Decree establishing the legal framework applicable to the recovery of slag originating from the production of steel in electric arc furnaces and its subsequent use as a steel aggregate

It is aimed at encouraging the substitution, in safe environmental conditions, of raw materials from natural resources with secondary aggregates recycled from demolition and construction waste on construction sites. To that end, it lays down environmental conditions for secondary aggregates and compiles the uses considered in the sector-specific technical standards and the criteria and frequency for monitoring the production of the aggregates contained therein.
