This draft Implementing Decree concerns details of the oversight of national reference standards, types of legally controlled measuring instruments and details of the procedure for type approval of legally controlled measuring instruments, as well as the marking of type-approved legally controlled measuring instruments, details of the method of metrological control, details of the technical and metrological requirements for the individual types of legally controlled measuring instruments, including the methods of technical tests for the instruments, types and method of affixing the verification and security marks, the verification validity period of legally controlled measuring instruments and the method of counting the verification validity period of the instruments.

The draft Implementing Decree comprises the basic text and annexes – Annex 1 contains the types of measuring instruments that are the subject of this Implementing Decree, Annex 2 provides the graphical representation of the marks and a specimen of the inspector identity card, and Annexes 3 to 65 contain the requirements for individual types of measuring instruments.
